Grow Emerging Leaders

Leading Others to Accomplish Results
Getting our teams to hit targets and produce results repeatedly might overlook the importance of relationship building and trust.
Team members who have greater confidence in one another and possess intuitive understanding of each other will almost certainly deliver more and greater achievements. And it is up to team leaders to provide the structure and environment where their teams can thrive.
Leaders who invest time and effort in knowing their team members as well as setting clear parameters to measure successes and communicating them emphatically will flourish in an ever-increasing complex business environment. In challenging times, leaders who know who they can entrust with tasks and who can empower others will attain greater efficiency and deliver better results.
Giving & Receiving Feedback
Leaders – team leads, supervisors, managers, department heads, senior executives, need to ensure that their team members and teams are aligned and stay on track to meet goals.
It is par for the course that leaders regularly coach their team members to achieve greater success. And when performance dips, they must be ready to deliver the messages needed to get things back on track. The ability to deliver feedback is both an art and a science – do it right, and organizations get a productive and motivated workforce.
The converse would be true. Putting ourselves in the shoes of others receiving the feedback would generate greater empathy and engender mindfulness. It creates a virtuous cycle where the leader strategizes the messages and their delivery to achieve greater buy-in. Psychological safety and greater staff engagement will be one of the many positives outcomes from leaders who can communicate feedback with tact and diplomacy.
Developing Yourself and Others
In the hustle and bustle of meeting deadlines and hitting targets, team members and leaders might lose sight of their own performance and professional efficacy and abilities.
Developing greater mindfulness and self awareness through peer reviews, assessments, and coaching are options to further enhance teams’ reflective practice and identify new pathways to propel their career to greater heights. With an increasing trend towards grooming managers and leaders to be coaches, people managers are expected to wear coaching hats to boost organizational performance on top of their job functions.
Recognizing the potential in others and helping them to unlock achievements will be a core competency expected of future leaders.
